Redlands Employer and Placement Service

The Redlands Employer and Placement Service or REPS is a dynamic Community organisation who's focus is job creation. REPS maximises government programs to show people looking for career changes how to get that job. REPS is not about training or traineeships, but rather REPS works with the Jobs Network and in particular Bridgeworks Personnel to show any job seeker how to get that job. REPS does this by providing a single access point to persons seeking employment within the Redlands Shire.

REPS directly employs a staff of 4 persons, and indirectly employs through its various enterprises a further 7. As REPS receives no funding from the government, it survives through its own initiatives and enterprises, such as Bicycle Hire, Bingo and other market related activities. REPS tenders for and competes with other organisations for various government and council projects. One such recent project is the Home Based Businesses Project, which involves individuals with their own home based business in the Redlands shire actively participating in new and exciting ventures to market their business and make it grow.
